Beginners Course
The next Beginner's Course will be held date TBD
In order to be allowed to shoot, all new archers must complete the beginners course. This course will allow you to learn the basics of archery including bow styles, technique, scoring, rules, etiquette and safety etc.
The cost is £60 per person, however if a Junior (age 8-18) is attending the course with a participating adult then the fee for the Junior is reduced to £50. (eg: 1 adult and 1 Junior together would be £110 instead of £120)
All beginners courses start at 9.45am until 4.00pm on Saturday and 10.00am until 4.00pm on Sunday. Please note that the course is 2 day course so you will need to attend on both Saturday and Sunday.
Hot & Cold drinks will be supplied by the Club, please bring a folding seat and a packed lunch. All equipment will be supplied by the Club.
Please could you wear tight fitting clothing, this is to insure the bow does not catch or interfere and spoil the fun. Sturdy foot wear should be worn as the field may be soft. If the weather is good a hat and sun cream is advisable since you will be outside the majority of the time.
You will be given a manual to keep with a certificate at the end of the course which will enable you to join any club.
