Based in Chipstead, England, Olde Colesdon Archers is affiliated to the The County of Surrey Archery Association, Southern Counties Archery Society and the ArcheryGB (GNAS). We are a target archery Club and have been shooting since 2007. We shoot on Sundays all year round, and also on Wednesday evenings during the summer months.
The club is within walking distance of Woodmansterne rail station, only 20 minutes from Croydon. The 166 bus service also stops at our home, Chipstead Valley Primary School.
Most of our members shoot recurve bows, with some members shooting compound, barebow, & longbow. Our membership ranges from archers aged 8 to Clive (89). The Club has provided an archer to county level with many members attending local and national target tournaments.
OCA is a friendly club welcoming to all ages and abilities - it's not all about competition! We have a number of fun events throughout the year, including the annual club BBQ, an Agincourt shoot (where members are split into English and French teams and shoot barebow at special target faces to decide the victorious team!), and the Christmas sweater shoot - see our photos for a glimpse into club life.
We have the experience and equipment to train people new to the sport of archery through a two lesson intensive course. To apply to complete the beginners course please download the application form and return it to the address on the form.
